Psalm 73:26 – “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”
---
Hello, it’s Vic Johnson and this is your Monday Morning Spirit Spark.
Some weeks you don’t feel fired up.
You don’t feel bold. You don’t feel strong.
You feel spiritually… low.
You’re not angry. You’re not in crisis. You’re just empty.
That’s when the enemy whispers:
“Real Christians don’t feel like this.”
“You must be doing something wrong.”
“Maybe you’re not as close to God as you thought.”
But Psalm 73:26 tells the truth:
“My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”
That means when you feel weak, He’s still strong.
When you feel numb, He’s still near.
And when you’re running low—you’re still not running alone.
God doesn’t ask for your energy. He asks for your trust.
Even when your prayers feel flat.
Even when worship feels distant.
Even when your Bible feels more like a book than a lifeline.
He’s still there. Still holding. Still strengthening.
So if you feel spiritually tired this Monday, don’t fake your way through it. Don’t hide it. Don’t hustle it away.
Just bring it.
>“Lord, I’m running low. But I know I’m not running alone. Be my strength when mine runs out. Remind me You’re still near—even when I don’t feel it.”
That’s your Spirit Spark for today:
You may be running low, but you’re still in His hands.
And that’s worth waking up for.
